A fast, segmented network and building-wide Wi-Fi for a busy hospital, with secure access for staff and guests.
Overview
The project
The hospital needed reliable connectivity across three buildings. We designed a segmented network, installed managed switches and access points, and set up monitoring so issues are caught early.

The challenge
Slow, unreliable Wi-Fi in the wards, one flat network shared by medical systems and visitors, and no visibility when something failed.

Our solution
A segmented network with separate zones for clinical systems, staff and guests; managed switches; Wi-Fi 6 access points planned with a site survey; and a next-generation firewall.

Implementation
- Site survey and coverage plan for all floors
- Installation in phases at night to avoid disrupting care
- Monitoring dashboard and alerts for the IT team
- Handover, documentation and staff training

Results
Full Wi-Fi coverage in every ward, guest traffic kept away from clinical systems, and problems now detected before staff notice them.
